How it all began…

After being used as our Community Centre since 1982, we recognised that the structure was becoming steadily less adequate for serving the needs of Fleetville.  We are restricted by the physical spaces and find the energy and maintenance costs are on the increase.

In 2014 the Management Committee of Trustees decided the time had come to consider replacing the present building.  One of the first assurances we gave all of our client groups and users was that a new building would not appear next year, or the year after; more likely the middle of the next decade. 

Even though we have a plan of action (Project Pathway), there will be unexpected issues which we will have to manage; all of them adding time to the project.

But we are on our way, and we will keep you informed of progress via the website.
